Srinagar & Pahalgam | The Sightseeing

Take a drive to the famous Pari Mahal. Further during the day, visit Shankaracharya temple which is atop a small hill in the city.

Srinagar Heritage Walk is through the rich historical and traditional past of Kashmir. The entire tour is on the banks of the river Jhelum. It is a unique experience of ancient buildings, relics of history, lanes of downtown, busy local markets, ancient shrines, temples, and mosques. It exhibits the fantastic craft and artistry of the locals. The walk goes through the old habitation of Srinagar called Downtown or locally called Shehr e Khaas. The places covered are Jamia Masjid, Khanqa e Mola, Budshah Tomb, Zaina Kadal Bazaar, Pathar Masjid etc.

In the afternoon, visit the famous Hari Parbat Fort, Gurdwara, and ancient Sharika Devi Temple.

On this day drive towards the famous Pahalgam – the land of shepherds. We will be exploring the places that come en route. Stop at the largest Saffron Fields in Asia – The Pampore Saffron Fields. Just a few kilometers away are the ancient temple ruins of Awantipora and the famous cricket bat factories. As you will be reaching neared to Pahalgam, you will see a string of apple orchards – one of the largest apple orchards in Kashmir. Stop here to experience apple picking and have some fresh apple juices.
